Addison Court Housing Cooperative is a limited-equity housing co-op in located in West Berkeley, CA.

The co-op consists of ten small (520 sq. ft.) private, one-bedroom apartments on the ground floor (up 4 steps to front and back porches). Each unit shares interior walls with the adjacent units. The backyard common area has a communal clothesline and an outdoor storage shed (4' x 8' x 8') for each unit. Around the front steps of each unit there is a small garden area.
Required participation includes monthly business meetings (Saturday mornings) which are run using Robert's Rules of Order with decisions made by majority democracy. We also have periodic workdays, shared maintenance, and administrative committee work. There is no indoor communal area.
